Juan Carlos Ortiz is the CEO and leader of the research and Development department at Materiales Oasis SAS. Ortiz holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University Pontificia Bolivariana, also is candidate to Master of Science at the Universidad of Antioquia; is pioneer in Colombian research about the chemical recycling of flexible foams and its applications as green raw material for a sustainable supply chain. His work in the selection, development and commercialization of polyurethane materials for use in comfort applications is focus in generate value and technological development to the Colombian polyurethane industry.
