Yun-Shan Liu earned his PhD degree in organic chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1998. Previously, he worked at Eastman Chemical as a Principal Chemist before joining Huntsman Polyurethanes in 2007. Yun-Shan has broad experience in catalysis, coatings, adhesives, and polyurethane foams (both flexible and rigid). While a Technical Manager in HPU, Yun-Shan led the Flexible group and then the Rigid group, and he supported a variety of businesses including Slabstock, Pour-in-Place, IMP (Insulated Metal Panels), Boardstock, Composite Wood Products, and Spray Foams. Starting on May 1, 2022, Yun-Shan joins Huntsman Performance Products Division as a senior technical manager for Materials group responsible for the R&D and technical support activity of Jeffcat and Jeffamine products. He has been granted nine US Patents.
