Riccardo Romanenghi graduated in Materials Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he focused on industrial applications for polymers, alloys, and composites. His academic research culminated in a study on next-generation sodium-ion batteries, which earned him a degree in 2019.
Since joining The Cannon Group later that year, he has worked as a sales specialist within the insulation team, delivering tailored technologies and solutions to companies operating in the polyurethane-based insulation sector, including refrigerators, walk-in coolers, building panels, and refrigerated trucks. His role also involves assisting in industrial line conversions to phase out blowing agents with high ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP).
Riccardo’s main interests include fire resistance properties and improving insulation performance.
