
In 1974, he founded a software company that in just a few years became a leader in Italy and, in the same year, on the death of his father, he took over the management of the first small business activity existing at that time of what is now the Cannon Group, which dealt with the first industrial technologies for the production of polyurethane manufacturing equipment. He contributed to Cannon's involvement in all polyurethane applications and to its internationalization by setting up companies abroad and achieving the world leadership in the sector of machines and plants for the production of reactive liquid polymer products. From 1987 onwards, he was engaged in diversifying the existing business into other fields of plant production to process different plastics and composite materials. A number of foreign conferences and awards, including in 2015 Gold Medal from the FSK, the German foam manufacturers' association, and in 2021 entry into the UTECH Hall of Fame, the leading event for liquid reactive polymers.
